None of the above...I really do wish that gaming companies would just release downloadable content instead of concocting unnecessary squeals...and no the fumbled "Create your own content" feature in GH:WT doesn't bring enough to the table to justify another $60.

I've only played as far as Guitar Hero 2, and I've never tried Rock Band, so I can't give a fair review.

However, I will say GH is entertaining and fun.

I don't understand how it was fumbled? I find it amazing and deep. I find new and fun songs to play every day on there for free.

Plus you can buy just the games and not have to get the whole set. You only would need to buy the whole set for Guitar Hero if you wanted the new drums, microphone and new guitar, otherwise use your old guitar for it. The Rock Band drums work on it as well I have heard. What I am saying is that if you already owned Guitar Hero 2 or Guitar Hero 3 on the Xbox 360 you can reuse the guitar for those. And at 86 songs to start with for $60 it is cheaper than buying each song as downloadable content.

Rock Bands AC/DC release is terrible though. It is like 25 songs for $40 and it's AC/DC. The songs are similar on basic levels. That is a waste. Hopefully The Beatles edition they will release will have a ton more songs.

Guitar Hero is releasing Metallica's "Ride the Lightining" album next year as well.

I guess it would be better if you know how to write music, or something, but I havnt played WT, want to becaue I love the guitar hero games, and I could care less about metalica music.. I wand Korpiklanni, battleheart, or rhapsody of fire. I wish we could just load in our own songs, like amp lets us. I do want to get the game, and I want the drum set, no mic for me, but having a hard time locateing the drums in any of the local stores. and I have never played rock band, mostley becasue I didnt want to rebuy all the instruments for it, so I just never took the time to play.

truthfully, i never saw how GH and RB were such hits among gamers. you play a song with a fisher price-like controller and match up colors. but thats just me.
