Favorite Book Series

i loved me some lord of the ring
heartbroken when they didnt add the hobbits fighting troll/orcs in the shire from the 3rd book

Stehpen King's The Dark Tower
Its was the first series, that I've actually wanted to read all the way, and got me wanting to read more.

Glen Cook's the Black Company

Steven Erikson's Malazan Book of the Fallen

Peter F. Hamilton's "Night's Dawn" series and Commonwealth Saga

And yes, I read King's Tower too.

I'm not sure if this counts, but if you ever need good modern fiction then Italo Calvino would be superb. 'If on a winter's night a traveler' is superb, as is 'Invisible Cities'. Both of them are sort of pretentious, but in a good way. :)

(PS: If I could have J.K Rowling be not-born in exchange for an alive Calvino I would be one happy bag. Rowling makes me cringe.)

Ender's Game series, the Tom Clancy novels with Jack Ryan. If Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy counts, that too.

Also used to really enjoy Redwall when I was in middle school, but that was years ago.

Sadly, fiction rarely captures my interest anymore, and I read a lot of non-fiction nowadays instead.

2 series I really enjoyed were The Black Magicians Trilogy and The Edge Chronicals
But I also really enjoyed the more obvious ones like Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings

The series doesn't really have a name but the set of books includes The Clone Republic, Rogue Clone, The Clone Alliance, and The Clone Elite. Its a futuristic sci-fi military book. Its really interesting and a great book series. I definitely recommend it, the books are by Steven L. Kent.

I'm quiet parcial to the Montmorency series, along with the Keys to the Kindom series and the Artemis Fowl series.

Well, I hate to say that I havent really read through any full book series.... (but I can listen to audio books at work, so I am getting a lot of "reading" done)

I have read all the way through the lord of the rings trilogy, including the hobbit and the silmarilion... I loved them, cant wait to read through them again.

Others Ive liked

Hitchhikers guide to the galaxy... only read the first one, but its great, would love to read the others (hard to find audio cd's at the library)

I read Dune, again only the first one, but it was good and would love to read the others.

I have heard the dark tower series mentioned a lot... will probably be reading that soon as I have some coworkers who love it and will let me borrow it. In the meantime, I am reading the Talisman, which I am told is somewhat related, and so far I am enjoying it.

On a side note... this isnt a series, but The Count of Monte Cristo is probably one of the best books I have ever read.
