[Dryft]

This needs to be sanctioned by Council.

[Kill Me]

Just for fun & communication on xfire, nothing else.

[Dryft]

Regardless, if it's using the eGO name, art, etc. it has to be approved by Council. This follows the same vein as unauthorized Steam Groups which were shut down.

[Kill Me]

Ohh, ok.

[Rasmus]

Ya we have to wait. I know Sixxgunn and TheBigHerm are working on a Steam group they're just waiting to get it approved by Council.

[Kill Me]

I need to bring up this idea to Council!

xfire doesnt have the functionality and integration that steam friends currently offers. We used to use xfire clans in eGO, but those have gone the way of the emu now that steam has improved the community function so much

[Ikesik]

xfire is in for a big hurt indeed. When I left the gaming world last xfire was the shiznit And steam friends was crap and just in the early stages. Now I only use xfire for old time sake, the steam stuff is more than enough (if your playing a steam game of course

[Cerepol]

I never really liked xfire and am glad to see it go, there was something about it that ticked me off. Steam Friends however seems to work well enough except when I trigger it in-game when I didn't want to.

[Kill Me]

I only use xfire because STEAM Community fails on me sometimes
