suggestion: possible gun game weekend

This is just a suggestion, but I've been playing DOD:S gungame lately and I find it quite fun. I was just wondering if there would be interest in starting a gun game weekend or day once a month. Would this be a possibility.

is that like a little arena or something?

in gun game you have to get a kill with all weapons in the game, starting with the bar and ending on knife normally. A kill makes you level up to the next weapon a suiside makes you lose a level, first person to get a kill with all 24 weapons, wins...

as an event it would be fun, however logistically it might be more trouble than it's worth getting a server set up for gungame and whatnot for a short period of time.

I can't imagine this would work to well. I was the one that ran the eGO GunGame server, and as Bas stated, it did not work. To set it up as an event would require reconfiguring a server and testing it to even make sure it worked properly. That in and of itself is more work than it would be worth, and a server devoted to it would not be successful. It's a neat idea, but doesn't hold enough longevity with players...

That's a shame - next to ego servers, the suicide kings gungame server is my fave - theirs tends to be dead in the mid day but always at least about half-full during the real peak playing times, which isn't half bad. Of course, I don't know the history of the previous gungame server, but i'd definitely play for a weekend or help populate a server.
