Left 4 Dead: And our members Please read.

The game was released yesterday ~9pm PST. I didn't notice it until a couple of people told me about it. So i got all my files downloaded ~10-11.

Got everything installed-updated and ready to play. SWEET THE LOADING SCREEN!!!

So i jumped into a server with OUR members only. There was 1 eG 1 eGO 1 e and then there was me.

So all eGO members in side a server playing together. Now we all know this game is rated M for mature.

Well i've got to say, with all the words this game has in it IE, s***, ect. ect.

What i expected was some members with some "maturity" in the server, regardless if it was ALL eGO members. The eGO asked me, aren't we going to do anything with this e? This e was cussing up a storm almost every other word was ahh ___ or ___ this or yadda yadda you get the point.

I told him i'll let it slide today, but tomorrow i'll make a post about it. So here i am making a post because some of our members don't have the maturity to play this game with our tags on.

Seeing how this e was yesterday, I'm not too sure how we can handle a l4d server or even a community for that matter. This game is going to be a wild beast, i'm not sure how we could ever tame it.

IF you see or hear anyone acting like this e did in a l4d server with OUR tags on. . . You better report them, because they are diminishing our name/title to what we bring to the online community.

We are here for a reason, and we aren't going to let anyone get in our way.

Yeah I have to add that I have been surprised that our good manners have not carried over to encompass this game. Just because it has bad language in it, or you get scared, you should still be able to control yourself. I have been a bit disappointed with some people and I have already told them about it actually in game. If you can behave here, you can do it everywhere.. lets keep the good quality that is ego and for gods sake , if you cant control yourself take your damn tag off and dont request to play with me !

The only thing i would say is would it not make sense to allow the words bitch and sh*t on our l4d servers exlusively, and make this exception only for pubs too. As we can't really say "hey stop using that" as the characters use the words themsleves. But otherwise all edge members would still not use these words and all the other rules fully apply? my 2 cents.

I know everyone is going to post i understand, which is good, but i don't think we need to make it a 500 page post xD!!

Anyways, i'm not sure how we are going to run a division, 1 server 4 slots? idk :/

We've got a lot of thinking to do.
