Issues with Dust2

How come every time i try to join a server that is playing dust2 i get this error saying that "my dust2 map differs from the dust2 map in the server"

Can some1 plz help me

Umm... maybe if you go in your cstrike and check in maps if de_dust2 is there if yeah just delete it!

i would suggest re-installing the game.. or getting another one from a torrent since you already have a steam account it should work..

YOU LITTLE ILEGAL! lol but just try what i said if no work just reinstall game cuz torrent is same file as in download and we must not talk about torrenting hhere

Torrents are not illegal. Torrent is a form of sharing data over the internet. Sharing illegal data which violates laws is not allowed, but not torrents themselves.

But anyways just delete Dust2 from your CSS folder, launch CS again and it should download a good version next time you go on.

its not illegal if you own the game!

Anyway, if worst comes to worst you can always delete the maps files containing de_dust, or you can simply reinstall the game

Basically check your maps folder eg:

steamapps/username/counterstrikesource/cstrike/maps

or if that does not work, then you will have to reinstall which, cause the revolutionary idea of Steam, will be easy since on your Steam Account
