Ventrilo problems

heys guys i have all the right information for the server and all the right settings and such but when i go to connect to the server it says "Synchronizing" and stays there i left it for an hour and came back once and it was still there idk what to do i have the latest version....i am open to all suggestion thanks

Do you have a firewall? That might be interfering with you're trying to connect.
