Health instead of money.

Currently on DUST2 and OFFICE, if you knife someone you get an average of 2500 bucks.

I have found a plugin that will give you 25 health for every knife kill in that round.

Is this something you guys would like to try out for a while?

Like Ill said, only I'm going to say it better.

When you give people money all you're doing is getting them guns faster; when you give people health you're messing with the balance and mechanics. I know giving people money for knifing is useless becasue of the bank, but giving them a quater more health isn't a good idea if you ask me.

if u can knife to get 300 hp more power 2 u its not like i hit them 2 150 and next round they get 300 again once they get down 2 100 they wont get anymore it should just b a nice reward if u get a knife

You do realize that to get 300 health the person has to kill 8 people with a knife? That is also assuming the person manages to knife 8 people without losing any health at all. lol..

300 was a hyperbole, the point is someone running around with extra health just because they got lucky to stab someone who wasn't paying attention isn't a good thing. Not to mention, this might influence people to just run around pointlessly with a knife trying to get the health bonus and that tends to ruin the game.

MH, i think its a great idea. This is an incentive to knife. To come out right and say this will happen in a game played by humans is somewhat reaching. Guys, give this a try and see what happens, thats the only way to find out if it is worthed. If it does not work out take it down. What is there to lose?

I like new things, it changes things up, even for a little.

I dont think thats how it works. I dont think it allows you to have more than 100hp at a time. Also this is for 1 round, when the round resets you go back to 100hp. It doesnt have to be 25 HP either. i could change it anywhere from 0-100 HP per kill. I thought it was cool. i was only asking.

we should still give it a try, i doubt it will even cause that much of an inbalance because theyre likely to get hurt while trying to knife someone

first off if someone can knife 8 people ina round. i think they deserve the 300 hp. but if u want to kill em ... buy a scout and hs them int eh face for 250+ damage then knife them back lol
i've played on other servers who have this in place and it gives people a reason to knife and adds to the game. And as it was said before... it only last 1 round by the time someone knifes 8 people the round would most def be over anyway.

I think it would be fun to try it out for a while.

Also, if you're the kind of player running around killing people with a knife chances are you're pretty good and don't need any extra money.

Its already hard to enough to knife with no block on, this gives a better reward and incentive to knife.



Also, it should be 50 and allow for over 100 hp.


To people who will say thats unfair, thats two shots with an ak and you can take out 300 hp. That would be 4 knifes, assuming hte person has perfect health the whole time.
