I was thinking about all the old times I had with eGO way back when we were about to make the move to the new eGO DODS website (before this one). Does anyone remember the little fun prank Kendle, me and I forgot who else was on the web team back then, pulled?
From what I remember, we were supposed to release the new website, but we decided to have some fun and play around with the whole community in a pre launch celebration. A couple hours before launch we made a really junky website in photoshop/paint with christmas music, fake snow, horrendous spelling errors and link errors all over.
Over the next couple hours, total chaos erupted as so many thought this was the new site. We downgraded from a awesome site, to one a 5 year old could make...LITERALLY!
All in all we ended up putting the new site up and replacing our old mischievous prank site with the brand new DODS site.
I just could not help but remember those times I had with you guys way back when. I miss it a lot and it was what kept me into this community. Thanks for everything kendle, I know it is not all your work alone, but it was your work and fun sense of humor which kept me here. This goes to whom ever else was on that web dev. team, great times.
