Diablo III, keep em comin Blizz!

Wow d3 is great looking! Got to appreciate Blizzard's professional talent in making great PC games. Just hope they have a better system of anti-hack (warden), and solve the problem of item duping. Kind of hoping they don't include runewords anymore.
 
There was thread about the announcment of Diablo III, I was just kinda keepin people updating/lettin people know if they missed it :)
 
Yeah no biggie... that thread has long since been dead. I'm glad some one else is showing some interest in such a great game to come!
 
Yeah I'm really looking forward to D3 also..but from what I've sen so far, it looks like I'll be playing as a Barbarian first :D
 
one thing why i am not buying diablo 3

blizzard confirmed you gotta pay for it to play online and i was like "Wat teh hell"

reason why when i get kinda bored of css i play wow for free on wowscape servers cause i ain't paying 15 dollars a month for a game i had to buy in the first place
 
I'm not trying to over hype this game for myself. I want to go in with a fresh slate....I really don't want to be disappointed with D3.

Only certain features of battlenet will you have to pay for. You don't have to pay anything if you just want to play online...but Blizzard has yet to announce what features are purchasable.

I don't think WoW should be compared to Diablo 3. Its a really different gameplay in my opinion. To me, it seems like Diablo 2, but with much improved graphics, cinematics and progressing storyline. They put a lot of emphasis on blood + explosions + gore + stylish attacks, which equates to a successful formula of "Fun".

It will definitely will be a popular game, I'm sure, but I'm not going to play it because its a time consuming game for me to keep up with "Diablo Economy". Like most multiplayer RPGs you have to invest so much or as much time as the other player to keep up with the fun.
 
Only problem is this game won't be out until like 2011 or so, because SC2 has been announced for how long now?

The beauty of Diablo is that it really doesn't require that much time to play at all.

In about 5 hours I can hit level 90 in Diablo II starting off fresh because I know how to level faster and quicker.
