People like this prey on ignorance. If you get a link to a site that ask for your account info. DO NOT PUT IT IN. The only time you should put your account info into something, is if you have went directly to the page yourself by inputting the address or clicking it from YOUR favorites list and such.

As stated, never give out your password to anybody.
Even if they promise you a million dollars.
Or ice cream. Even mint chocolate chip! Mint Chocolate Chip ice cream cannot be trusted on the internet!

Also, haven't seen this happen, but even if an eGO or someone higher ranking than you asks you for password information, don't give it. 99% chance the person is a spy, by which I mean an impostor!

Naaah, Mint Chocolate Chip ice cream can be trusted sometimes.

But not Birthday Cake ice cream.

The cake is a lie.

All jokes aside, this counts for anything in real life. Your social security number, your credit card information, etc, should all be kept private.

As a bonus, if you give away your password to random people on the internet so does your account credentials if it's saved to your account (It is, isn't it? I can't remember...).

Yea, same person tried this on me a few minutes ago, good to see a warning up on the site.

so ice did ya try out the free games? lol kidding my brothers yahoo was hacked to day big brother to the rescue(thats me)

These things are so obvious, but I play along and put fake information to rage and mess around with them.

OMG - this guy added me as a friend, and I had no clue who he was, so I ignored the request.
