hello, i need help yesterday someone hacked my account and cant get back on but i found him. what do i do now? so plz all ego members help.

well it 1 started like this. he asked me do u wanna be an admin? me yes. him well need ur username and password. me idk u might be a hacker. him no i just recruiting admins. me ok typed it the thing popped up are u sure u want to send this info i thought about it and i thought i pressed no then my dad said time 2 get off i went offline then i guess he went on and changed all of my stuff even deleted all my ego friends. i found now what do i do and also get it back? so thanks for ur concern

Interesting story, but not the type of detail I was requesting. What software are we talking about? I am assuming you're talking about Steam. If so, go to www.steampowered.com and click "login" at the top right corner. Then click "forgot my password" and fill in the information it requests. They will email you the password reset link to the email address that you used to create the account. Then you can log back in and change your password to something other than what it was when your account got hi-jacked.

Also, you should probably post things like this in the Tech Help section. Just a thought.

This is why you use strong passwords, and dont give your passwords to anyone. Valve specifically states that they will never ask you for your password and you should not give it to anyone.

You dont need the password in order to change the password. Click "Login" and then click "Reset Password". Otherwise, you will need to email or call Valve's support desk.

Okay guys, seriously did you ever think this:

- If you bought a game offline: Find the transaction, scan it or take a picture and put in a request that way

- If you have a serial key, take a picture of it with a few things (They say what they want written down) and then request with that.
