I'm not sure that any class requires more skill than another. It's really about the characteristics of the person playing it.
For example, I'm TERRIBLE at MG. I just can't seem to fire quick enough, to lay in the right spot, etc. However, I am great at charging people, catching them off guard and using nades/surprise to my advantage. Similarly, I can set up the rocket and fire off a long distance kill with ease.
The real skill is recognizing your strengths and weaknesses, and picking the class that suits your abilities.
Sonicsuby knows what he's talking about.
It really all depends on personal taste, as well as personal strengths and weaknesses.
