GTX 295 Preview :O!

NVIDIA needs to stop making babies and just make one big baby that can handle anything for the next 10 years. I'm loosing track here. Anyways, I still think my 8800GT is the best thing out there.

I was planning on going SLi with 2 GTX 260 cards. The GTX 295 does that for me and makes it one single card. Also, if nVidia makes one gigantic great card instead of these "babies", they wouldn't make much money. MOST consumers don't have enough cash to buy a graphics card that costs that much. Also, no games at the moment REQUIRE "big baby" power. You won't be afford a card that can last 10 years anyways.

Oh and one more thing...THEY ARE STILL DEVELOPING TECHNOLOGY. Even if they DO make a super powerful card, the technology will become outdated in under 10 years. Technology wasn't planted in the world for us to use instantly.
 
I really like the way the GTX 295 looks, Plain, but sleek. It outperforms what I have and... well I want it. I've always stuck with Nvidia, and i don't want to stray now !! :)
 
Just in time, i'm going to buy a 4870 x2, So let's get that (price)war started !!

Well, Not necessarily, I was doin the same, checkin out benchmarks, and It Does pull ahead in most games, but it seems ATi has mastered AA when you compare the X2 to the 295, The AA x4 on max settings somewhat killed the 295, But then again, the processor ( core2quad extreme ) was bottlenecking the power... So, I could be wrong, Just throwin in my 2 cents :D
 
in my opinion nvidia is still behind. it took them months to get this card out and its only a little better than the stock 4870 X2.

its basically two gtx260's stuck together.

plus the 4870X2 is more compact and I would guess it cools better also.
If nvidia comes out with something truly amazing then I will buy from them once again.
