Hard drive question

This might be stupid but I want to ask before I buy a new hardrive.

I dont know alot about hardrives so bare with me. My C drive is 88.2 gig while my D drive is 88.0 gigs. What does the D drive store?? Im asking this because I only have 19 gigs left on my C drive. Is there anyway I man move space from my D drive to my C drive?? On the D thingy it has like 87.8 gigs left.

Usually D is just a backup partition, you can use it if you want

When I had a more than one partition I would keep the OS and utilities on C and install programs, keep my files and the swap drive on D.

You can uninstall some of your programs and reinstall them on D, just make sure you back up configs and/or game saves before you do.

So I can install games and files on the D drive?? Theres nothing on the D drive when I click on it from my computer.

Yes - just point the installer to D:\whatever\blah

Set up a dir on D and name it Programs (or Zebra Brains for all it cares).
