Hello, I was wondering if anyone has had the problem I am having now. I just set up an LCD as my monitor and for some reason my computer's sound has been changed. When I play DoD some sounds like footsteps are at the normal level while others like the gunshot are barely heard even at the highest volume setting. This effect seems to be through out the entire system as I have noticed it with other games. This all occurred after I switched to HDMI on my video card instead of the old tube. Maybe these are unrelated issue's I'm not sure, but I'm just looking for any help. Thanks!

change ur sound setting to SPDIF interface, that should help

if ur running vista - start / control panel / hardware and sound / sound / set SPDIF interface as default.

if ur running xp it should be about the same process, srry i havnt used xp in a long time

Can't find that option anywhere in the sound settings. I downloaded something called an AC3Filter after surfing the web about this issue it seems to have that option, but when I enable it I get the same sound. I'm still unclear as to why I'm only getting certain sounds. Do you know what the reason is?
