Clanwars and eGO

I don't want to insult eGO or any of the members but I think eGO should start playing clanwars and should enter tournaments. I don't want the clan leaders to take this as an offense to the clan but I think that clanwars and tournaments are a great way to increase the popularity of the clan!

Actually this has come up before. Council has believed that it isn't worth doing. At the moment the only tournaments that we are involved in (as far as I know) are the ones we create ("The Soldiers Tournament") and CAL for Counterstrike.

But playing world tournaments is good because you can earn money by winning them and it would help the clan not only with financial problems but it gives the clan a chance to get a "Clan of the year" award.

By clan wars I believe you mean "Scrims"

Also I'm positive that we have a "A" and "B" CoD4 scrim teams, and that "A" Team is already registered for CoD4 Cal-O Season 4. I'm not sure about B Team.

I wouldn't count on eGO going to the MLG, or anything like that. They'd need to find people who could get together, and Lan as a team constantly, and most of the people who're old enough to do this have jobs, which would make it hard.

We have inter eGO scrims only no cal teams no leagues. It would wind up creating to many problems. We have been down this road before and not willing to travel it again.
