I used to play Guitar, Drums, and I still play a little Piano, Nothing in a band or anything.

I played guitar, bass, drums, and a little piano for about 20 years. I've been in gigging bands for about 15 of those 20 years. I kinda got sick of dealing with bands and so called promoters and just gave it up about 2 years ago.

The funnest band was with 3 other friends playing funk/rock stuff. All we did was noodle and play covers. Lots of fun and no stress. Worst band was an all original "jam" band. I like to improv and have fun but sometimes a song just needs to be 3 minutes long, not 10. Oddest band was a wedding blues/soul band. Me along with 2 other young white guys, a 65 year old black dude playing lead (he wasn't very good) and singing, and a couple of his nieces singing back up. We played some very well paying gigs in that band and it was always entertaining, but some of the gigs that guy booked were just scary. When you need a police escort to load in and out, you know you're not playing where you should.

Ummm.... *Thinks* Where to start...
Trained in; Piano, Harpiscord, Violin, Bass, Rythm/Lead Guitar and vocals and know my way around the Synthesizer/Drum machine since the age of about 4-5.

Been playing in about 5 different bands in music ranging from Black Metal to pop rock, sadly the longest lasting, the pop rock/metal band disbanded last year just before christmas, ending an era in my life, which lasted about 4 years.

I wrote about 175 songtexts in total and 5 original piano/Harpiscord/violin pieces.

So far, I am trying to start up 3 musical projects again, 1 Electronic, a Fantasy/Progressive Metal band and a Visual Pop Rock band, but so far no luck in finding the musician..

Used to play the guitar for about 6 years (since I was 7). But it wasn't in a band or anything, just for fun, although I did perform in a school play once. I remember we played Knockin' on heaven's door by Guns 'n' Roses

I play drums, a bit of piano, and I played Sax in grade 9 (cause I had to).

I've played Drums (and the rest of the percussion section), Bass, Guitar (acoustic and electric, though I prefer acoustic), Trombone, Baritone, Tenor Sax, Bass Clarinet, Piano, Violin, Baritone Sax, and Double Bass....

My two favorites are Drums and Bass Guitar... I've played in concert bands, marching bands, the Elkhart youth honors orchestra, and a couple jazz bands...

Never did it professionally, just for enjoyment as I enjoy all types of music...

More recently, I've gotten into mixing music and using the soundboards, and custom building car audio systems...

My favorite time playing instruments was when I was on the Timpani for the youth honors orchestra playing selections from cats... for those that don't know, Timpani are huge kettle shaped drums with thin membranes that are adjusted in pitch by foot pedals... as we were playing a bunch of different songs from Cats all rolled into one montage, the pitch changes came pretty frequently, and you have to be dead on otherwise you'll throw the whole orchestra harmony off and create a sharp discord... it was a blast...

Also, in high school and college, I had my own radio show and built a repeating promotional program for the school to broadcast during the times when they didn't have people to do shows (mainly at night)
