Fake Clients/Reserved Slots

I hate both, especially when I wanna play online.
Bots in offline server, maybe OK by me, if I play alone.
But what I hate the most than those 2 is auto-kicked by server coz of my ping. Can I help it, if my country has such crappy ISP?!

It was so difficult to find a server with players in it...so difficult, before I came back to eGO. You've no idea how many times I tried to find a server with people in it, only to go in and find it filled with bots.

And not just bots.

Bots that aren't even playing the game.

I mean what the hell?! I would've taken bots, so long as I could've killed them! But nope, just spectating. Bots that could only watch.

I hate bots. And I love eGO in part because of its complete and utter lack of bots.

Well, Fake clients only affect CSS for us since the other source games don't have bots, right? The reserve slot thing hits you on any game.

they are both pretty annoying... the fact that you could be in a game for like 2 hours and get kicked for a reserved slot over someone that has been there for 45 seconds is pretty dumb, also joining a server with good ping, etc, and having it all be bots kinda sucks too :/

I wouldn't mind going into a server with sturmbots as they could play almost as good as humans but the
stupid bots valve have go is an insult to the players

bots im fine with, what annoys me is the reserve kick >.< im not talking about not able to get in because of the auto kick, im talking about when im already IN the game, been there for like 10 mins, then i get kicked for a reserved. i mean that makes absolutely no sense. one of the reasons why i love eGO severs

and i disagree with one thing from the news post, i think the three of you SHOULD be able to use some of the money. not ALL, SOME. they have done so much for the community, and i think they should be rewarded with a little bit of something, i for one wont mind if they took some of the left overs that they have after the monthly payments(if you have ). as soon as im able to donate, i would gladly donate like $50 if THEY, not the severs needed it. im sure many other eGO members would agree with me, but because of the 3 being such great guys, they wont take it, god bless the three of you, or which ever god you pray to, to bless you XD

I dont mind reserve slots if some one is donating a lot to run a server, But bots are so annoying.

Before I found ego, I used to search for maps I liked with low ping and high player count. NOTHING irked me more than finding one that fill all the criteria, connecting, and... finding one other player (who would promptly quit) or none at all. I enjoy a completely full server -- a LOT. I'll gladly wait 10 minutes for a slot.

I like to be assured that when i join a sever, someone gets kicked out so i can shoot slow moving, ridiculous aiming, terribly functioning bots.
Both for sure.

Seriously though, i hate reseverd slots, just a pain when YOU get kicked.
Dont mind bots, i create a sever with them on for aim/reflex practice.
And i used to play the CSS zombie mod with AI controlled zombies.

Well, I had played on a few other servers before eGO and found the kicking extremely annoying, since they seemed to kick the lowest scoring person, and it was hit and miss to try and connect and stay connected since you'd join, and then get kicked because you were the "low-scorer"-i.e. haven't started playing.

Getting Kicked by a Reserved Slot

You can spot a BOTiFULL server by viewing the server info before you join.
If every one ping is 0 then either they are all bots or they are playing on the same LAN as the server.

Both of thoose = no fun LOL
