ventrillo codex

I am a mac user and play on one currently. The codex for the ventrillo is different than the one my mac uses. Any idea how to remedy this?

I'm confused. You're using the Ventrillo client for Mac, and you're saying the codec's that came with the application are not consistent with the ones being specified by the server to use?

My first thought would be to uninstall Vent, download it again from the Vent website, and reinstall.

yes i guess mac uses a speedex codex and pcs use codex 6.2 something or other ..i can log onto the server but can not talk or hear
