I moved to Japan from San Antonio a month ago, and will finally get my stuff delivered including the most important thing, my gaming computer, in a week or so. Its been a long month without any multiplayer gaming, I need my fix.

I usually play on your 2fort servers, I will be back on soon. See you in a week.

Its unbelievable here. Im at Yokosuka, which is on Tokyo Bay. Its a mix of modern and ancient, where you can go to Tokyo or 1000 year old shrines. We went to great Buddha and Hachimangu shrine(was the main shrine during the Shogun era). Ill try to post some pics.

We got a house which cost 260,000 yen a month, about $3,000 a month. While that sounds like a lot, its a pretty nice house. On the flip side we got 2 cars for under $5000. The 10 year old cars here are still very nice, in new condition because they take such good care in Japan. The car I got is a Toyota Crown with 23,000 miles, and it was $2,200.

The Japanese are so nice and polite. And no crime to worry about, I feel totally safe walking around here. Yeah yeah, there was the sarin gas attack 15 years ago, but to steal from someone here is to dishonor themselves. Americans could learn a few things from the Japanese.

Oh...And I can get internet with 160Mbps.

I get about 100 kbp/s here...my mouth waters for 1mbps.....my room would overflow if i let myself dream of 160mbps.....

mosly cars god every single japan car is awesome we get the cheap eddition in canada and must import the "real" japan engines god also no crime thats sound like super, ive kinda always tought japan like that.

and does people mostly talk japanesse or english? or even better french? :>

Im ex USMC, but this time its my wife that has us overseas. She got a job with the department of defense teaching sailors kids.

Yeah, that is 160 Million bps. That plus cable and phone is $105. Compare that to what I had in US, cable and 3mbps for $120.

Japanese is mainly spoken here of course, but they love everything american and most know at least some english.

They have a ninja amusement park, and also a ninja restaurant, so you know its a cool country.

Speaking of cars in Japan, the guy I bought my cars from last night had a GTR(knicknamed godzilla), 700+ horsepower. Personally, I like american muscle. But those cars are badass. Heres my Mustang that I had to leave in storage back in San Antonio(this and my dogs which have to go through a 6 month quarantine are whats killing me right now.)

Sorry no new pics, just wanted to tell you about the connection speed I will be getting after all. I COULD have had a 1 GBPS (yes 1000 bps), but there was a 1-2 month wait for the install. I ended up ordering a 100 MBPS which is WAY more than what I had in San Antonio(3 MBPS).

We moved into our Japanese house, I will post pics soon. Internet install is 2/9/09, see yall soon.
