My wife and I actually meet online and the very first time we actually met up in real life for a date we went to the movie theatre and I told her to pick out whatever movie she wanted and she picked Blackhawk Down, so I will have to go with that one. I knew from that moment on she was a keeper! >;O)

I actually do like Groundhog's day. I've seen it a few times and usually watch it when it comes on T.V. One of Bill Murray's better roles actually.

Here's a list in no particular order.
HR means Highly Recommended. I recommend them all but the HR ones I guess you could say are my top favourites.
Eraserhead
The Kind Hearted Geum-Ja AKA Lady Vengeance (HR. Seriously. This is quite possibly the greatest drama I've ever seen and my second favourite film of all time. It's one of the few movies that really stirs my emotions and it's absolutely brilliant. I love the rest of the vengeance trilogy, but this is by far the best of the three.)

Your taste in novels (noticing you mention a phew of your favorite adaptations of them), as well as in movies, is awesome.

Big Fish is good, but I'd have to say Burton's best movies are either Batman, Edward Scissorhands, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Beetle Juice or Sweeney Todd. All of them are my faves of his work, and I can't wait for Alice in Wonderland.
