eGO has changed everyones lives I think, whether they realize it or not.
Never has my online gaming experiances been so fun, the time just flies .. It's kinda one of those deals where its like WHAT?! Its 3:00AM ALREADY?! Ughh..

Personally, I think it's the "No Attitude, No Punks" kinda thing that gets us as an organization far, as everyone likes playing without those scream little kids who think their tough cause they can cuss over the internetz!

I joined a year ago today (Feb. 1 2008) and was member #1000 of the TF2 divisional forum website. Yeah, we had separate websites for every division. DoD was edgegamers.us, TF2 was edgegamers.org, and CSS and the then-new CoD4 division were edgegamers.net. We had 3 TF2 servers, Dustbowl, 2Fort, and Well, though Gravelpit would soon arrive.

But what's really changed is the Call of Duty division since I joined it around May 2008. We had one server, rotation TDM, and the entire division had about 15 active members. It took a massive push for us to fill the 40 slot server to capacity just for a few minutes. Having me and Rhinoseed join the division at the same time was practically a big deal. Now the CoD division is not only spit with WAW, but we're finally beginning to expand to a size that rivals the other divisions.

I've been around almost a year now, I remember the old site...lol. When I first joined I used to say "I'm in a clan with really good servers." but that view changed significantly since then, now I say "I'm in a clan with an amazing community, the BEST servers around, dedicated leadership and members, AND we support INS."

I joined in Jan of 2007 I believe and eGO has completely changed my free time. I can't wait to play with fellow clanners. I have never used my computer as much for gaming as I have since joining eGO. I"m addicted, not just to TF2, but to seeing/hearing members every night and playing Punk-Free with them!

But nothing has changed exept that it is just even more awesome!

For me it was March 08. I was playing on then Dustbowl server (well one of them, there used to be two) and my last clan I was in had just dissolved. I loved the no-punk attitude of the server and thought "What the heck, its sounds good." I jined up, and since have been through the big website change over, the addition of several TF2 servers, the creation of the Hell Hounds House and the removal of the houses, and through several map changes on the servers, including my beloved Convoy *sigh*. I was there with some of the old time eGO's like Moose, Monkeybits, and Captain Mental and paid tribute to the Pink Hat council member with the mOP designation, and pretty much enjoyed the atmosphere.

Now nearly a year later I have seen how the changes of the past have affected the present and all I have to say is that it has been an AWESOME ride!

Been through getting 2 servers, kalt, strand, KK, then houses then Snoforest44 (first custom map of eGO) then TF2 with 2 or 3 servers then CSS and now where its at...

I sorta miss those who I first met that arently hardly ever on or on at all anymore.

A lot has changed. The website, and the added games.
It used to be small enough that you could recognize a lot of the player names. Now days, its hard to tell who's a member without typing sm_who.

So many things have changed. Some for the better, some for the worse. I've seen great people join, get promoted and leave. There's too much to list, really
