I am getting an error message when i go to compile my map it goes through the whole compile and then when second to last command occurs it gives me a can find file error.

Paste your compile log into there, it will let you know if you have any errors.

You can scan your map for errors before you compile it, and it will tell you the problem

Found the Error I think, I used cp_fortressv1.1 for the name according the link you guys provided for checking errors using some symbols such as the period will cause the map to crash during compile.
