How to use a scout?

Only reason the awp is removed from eGO servers is because of the amount of players in a server at one time. Whenever there are a lot of people running around in big groups. Awps are ridiculous. You can probably get close to 3 kills with one shot. This goes for the same for the auto. You can camp all day and just hold that button down far away.

I suggest using just a AK or M4. I can get easy hs with those two no need for scouts.

To answer Zan's question, yes, it is much better to quick switch to your secondary and then back to your scout/AWP.

Note to the Uninformed: Go watch some sourceradio.com movies/matches anything for source and you will see what you've been missing out on. AWP doesn't require skill...pffffffff.

Its really easy and a lot of fun, you should practice on a scout server.

Since Im So Pwn With a scout ill share my secret (Not Really A Secret). Words of advice, Always Look at your surroundings and find a good spot,walk (NOT RUN) it will increase your accuracy, If Close Range switch to secondary, make sure you go for your target dont swich people unless your target is out of range.

It all just comes down to I believe your position in the map, for example I was a god at CT side Dust2 to upper cat walk, Just wait for people to run across and HS, also can kill them through the left door on cat walk if you trace them correctly, although you have to pay attnetion to the opposite side w/ people running down middle + frags/flashes through the doors. Also, one of my friends used to put a tiny black spec of tape in the middle for up close combat with the scout so you dont miss.

You have a lot more play room with a scout, and if you use your feet to strafe/aim while scoped you can hit a lot of targets moving only on one axis.

it just takes practice...nothing different from awp really besides accuracyy (slightly better) range (far worse) damage (way worse)....plus u "walk faster" with the scout....Scout is eseentially a hunting rifle and i think css should remodify it for more realistic gaming <- another story

to get better just practice with bots and try to do Musclememory training

It's a nice weapon, killer accurate. The basic sniping this applies, aim and shoot. It's fairly strong, but I was owning with it today. For me, it's about mood. I get in that scout mood, and pwnage ensues.
