Concering Hackers

I have seen a lot of hackers on lately, although I seem to tell the admins nothing gets done, I have played CSS long enough to know when someone is walling and I am familiar with how the hacking programs work(computer programming). I don't see enough bans go out even when I see someone hacking and it frustrates me to see this, althought I am new to the clan I should not be speaking like this. The admins do a great job, dont get me wrong.

Get some admins on your friends list. Throw them a message letting them know.
You can also submit a demo, record it, upload it, and post a ban request. You can always have them banned that way.

If you feel that these player are indeed hacking which almost 95% of them are false. Go ahead and post a request ban with at least a 5 minute demo and leadership will watch it. There is blatant hacks and wall hacking which gets submitted daily and are almost all false accusations.

I was an admin for almost 3 years before I quit cold turkey and began my Army career. I know what to look for and what all the hacks do. I began researching hacks because I too was falsely accusing people. I purchased an alternate account and downloaded hacks to see what they did and how they worked (dont worry, this was years ago and on several computers past... That account was VAC banned).

There have been several obvious hackers as of late, but I've noticed that they were mostly banned immediately. There were a couple that were obvious to me, but not so much to others - I usually keep quiet after the initial accusation though. They were allowed to play for several hours all the while I was crying inside

I could write up a nice informational/educational post on what to look for - everything from the obvious nospread, nospray, autoaim and spinhacks to the not so obvious walling, map hacks, and alternate hitbox aimbots (hackers dont always get headshots). Yes?

I know what you mean Kiwi, just sucks knowing most admins (TAKE NO OFFENSE) don't really know what to look for when people are hacking, as being more experienced with computer programming and making hacks for other games to get grades in class lol I know what to look like.

As Legend already sad, get admins on your friends list and tell them if you c someone is hacking, because eGO is big great family there is always mom or dad on line to help you.

Don't forget like Ill said you can always record the demo and submit the ban request yourself.

The beauty of eGO is the large base of admins constantly rotating in and out of the servers. Don't forget we are playing too on top of being vigilant of abusers, so we don't always see all that is going on. It is sometimes a hackers goal to sabotage and disrupt while being clandestine. You can send admins a message through the admin chat to get our attention. Type in team chat with an @ before message. It is invisible to non-admin so it doesn't let on to the player and we can get the proper evidence to ban/request ban. The only side note to that is don't spam admin chat as it is a tool for us to communicate and not a way to chat up your favorite admins.

Just sucks not seeing alot of admins on in the morning. We need a votekick/ban vote so it makes things easier for the people to get rid of the hackers, than its a unanimous vote of hacking no way they can get out of it.

Most Likely They Were Not Because We Have Awesome eGO Admins, If Possibly They Were Like Everyone Else Said Get People On Your Friends List And Pm Or Record a Demo, Post It Then A admin will get to it. If you think someone is hacking then just tell someone in admin chat which is @ (then what you want to say). There is plenty of ways to inform a admin about hacking or abuse.

Look at it this way. When there are no hackers playtime is good and that is great. But if there are hackers playing on a constant basis then the eGs are seeing first hand how to admin, the eGOs have an opportunity the train the eGs and the e's get to show their maturity and skills in aiding admins. All this results in experienced admins and leaders utilizing a chain of command that results in well runned servers.

I am not gonna lie it has been pretty crazy lately, like this morning a spinbot+aimbot guy never banned, a possible waller, and a blatant waller. None of these were banned but really if I person is that bad at the game cant u just kill them every round?

Ok first of all. The problem isn't that so many people are hacking. The problem is there are alot of good people and you guys have inflated self images and can't stand losing. There are people without lives who are very good at CS:S. People get banned for "Blatant and obvious hacking" all the time because people accuse them. Then a day later, the leadership has to overturn it because the demo shows no hacking at all. Hacking is not a big issue on our servers at all and votekick/ban is a terrible idea that will never happen.

You wouldn't even imagine how much time we spend kicking and banning jerks from the servers to make them a fun place to play. Also, we do a darn good job at admining. Especially considering how Counter Strike as a game attracts so many idots and creepy losers that don't have lives.

Its actually harder than you think...I been playing css a while and its a lot harder to tell who is walling or not because 1. There are people who are actually good 2. No sure way to tell if someone is walling because of footsteps.

Trust me man, if things were that easy, hackers would have no place in this world....and btw i only seen 4 legitimate hackers in our servers. People may seem like they are hacking but they are either reallly good or just lucky here and there. When I was in CAL or scrimming against Main people (i was ringing lol i was only an open so i got pwned) I thought they were hacking but its just because they are GOOD

Recording a five minute demo and requesting a ban is too much work so I let them slide. If they keep it up they're bound to get banned eventually.

Besides, what is there to proof playing cheat? Im a lousy player, but i nvr cheat.. i will always try my best in playing even though im alot in an disadvantage situation.
So, anyway, Like others said, should you see any suspicious players, jst add some admin friends on Steam or search on Vent!
