The New Bank on D2. Why?

Just to get some thoughts on why we got the new bank or maybe there is a specific reason? Its nice to have the money all the time. Especially when your team is just getting rolled. Gives you a chance against a stacked team. When you can buy guns for all if needed or for a new person to the server. I liked having money in the bank, but I liked having all that money at the start of the round to spend from interest and contracts. That way I didnt have to access the bank unless I had to.

I could see why we got it to get rid of contracts maybe. The skill contract pretty much gives you a count how many are camping in B, short a, or where ever you nade. That way you can call for more nades real quick. Or you know what you are getting yourself into. It comes in handy for spamming doors and such. Once you get a hit just keep shooting. So that can be good or bad. Depends if you are the killer or the killed.

Just curious to see what others think about the new bank

Well, the old bank mod was crap. There wasn't much it could do. With this one. It does have transfer and just a better way of keeping your money. Also, it prevents people from using bank for the beginning pistol round.

I think the new bank mod ROCKS. The GUI is better. I also think it is newbie friendly as I'm somewhat new to CS:S.

Well, I didnt buy a gun on first round. Just nades, armor, kit, and a deagle. Just had to use credit.

So now you get to choose between nades, armour, or a deagle. Go with armour


The nnew bank is on office too btw.

I gotta agree with you I like the new GUI and its just better than the old one though I do miss lots of interest hehe

Like I said in another topic, I like it, other than the interest going into the bank instead of our "pockets". Would it be possible to "mod" this?

Sorry. Didnt see another topic. Ive had problems with me bank resetting. Did it yesterday. I was on this morning and it was fine. Just got back on and it was 0 again. Its okay, but I miss the old one. Oh well I guess.

You get interest, but it goes straight to your bank. You just have to withdraw it

I like the new bank just for its simplicity. It has the only functions you need: Deposit, Withdrawal, and Transfer. Which is what I love about it, I could never figure out the old bank in the Office Server. It had all of these random functions in it, but now I will play some more Dust due to the fact that I can actually figure out how to use the bank, and the map in general.

The new bank works well, except now there won't be as many free weapons in the beginning with all of the ridiculous bank accounts. :/

IDK....this bank was alright at first.... but it has reset on me the last couple days every time I leave the server...... Sometimes every map reload....

I like new bank, it would be better if interest go direct to our pocket instead of bank but it seems to me its more stable than the old bank
