Graphics Card

Hey, I'm new to DoD:S and I was wondering what type of graphics card is needed to run it smoothly ?(6000's,8000's,9000's)?

idk, I could run it fine on a Radeon 9250, and that is a fairly low end card. I would suggest something higher tho, i would some times get graphical glitches.

I run it smooth with a 9600 gt. Then again, I was running it smooth with my old 7600 gt a year ago. *shrug* I'm not much of a help. 9600's are cheap now.

I have a 9600 gt EVGA 512 and it was only like 175 at the time, like a year ago.
much cheaper now

nvidia 7000 and up gaming GPU's should be fine running DoD source.

Nvidia 8600 GTS is what I run. I would really like a higher end like the 9800 GTX. I think the 9800 GT or GTX is a nice mid range card right now.

7000 = low end graphics for this game.
8800gtx is what i got and it looks good to me. lol. dont lag when takin videos either
and the 9800gtx is a pretty good card too
but the best = 295 gt card o.0 300$ tho haha.

but its all up to you on what you want the game to look like.

I run GTA IV with a bit graphic problems (its a high end game) but after a small tweak its fine, and i have a Nvidia GeForce 8600 GT.
Cheap and easy to install.
