The death of the F10 joke?

I always finish my gaming with F10.

It is fast, easy and forbidden (you cannot even talk about it while in game).

All ingredients of something great.

But now it is broken.

Don't believe me?

Go kill something.

Have plenty of fun.

And when the time comes to stop to sleep, eat or go to the bathroom...

(if you let such things interfere with your killing)

Press F10.

You'll get a confirmation window.

Don't you see? F10 is dead.

F10 is a past joke now.

I usually used F10 to quit as well. At least it kills all F10 jokes. If you check the bind for F10, it says something like "quit prompt" I think. I haven't tried it yet, but try binding F10 to "quit" instead of "quit prompt".

For everyone that doesnt know what f10 is, it closes your game right after you hit the button.

And I used it to! That is sooo lame!

Now the F10 joke is dead because if you have bound it to "quit" instead of prompt you will know what it does. However, if you don't know, then it will just make a quit prompt.

I tried it. If you want to use F10 to quit the game just type this into the console:

bind f10 quit

This will bind F10 to automatically quit the game, just like it used to.

heh, I bound F9 to explode so when I was near death and no medics I could just kill myself, it's really embaressing when I accidentally hit f10...
