Question

how do you separate a render from its back round on GIMP? I have been using the scissors select tool but i always get an out line around the render and the picture comes out looking weird or horrible in some cases so could some one please tell me how to separate a render from its back round? ~Thank you

Just cut around it, use the magic wand tool.

i use Gimp and theres no magic wand tool T.T

There sure is. Look at the tool box, top row or so. A wand.

that is the render im trying to work with but if i use the wand it selects all the black and it selects also all the black on the actual guy

I dont really use gimp alot... if you can find it, use tolerance or something.
