Need some help with Photoshop

I am pretty good with CS3, but i want to know how to make a .gif with text revolving around an object. not three dimensional, but 2D. Anyone know what i'm trying to get across here?

You'll need the animation filter open first.
Then it's a case of making seperate layers for the rotation. I'm guessing you'll want about 50 frames so you'll want to rotate it slightly on each layer.

That's the only way I can think of it though.
Their might be easier ways to animate in other programs.

If you have Flash CS3/CS4 it would be super easy. But I don't own Photoshop so I wouldn't know

Rotating could be taken a couple of ways - like circle around the outside, or look like it's orbiting, or something else entirely. Maybe you could storyboard it. I might have some suggestions then.
