What Game Should I get

6. Half Life
7.Insurgency


I'm planning to get a game for my B-DAY so I need game suggestions (First Person Shooters only please)

So far I am considering:


1. Far Cry 2
2. Battlefield 2142
3. Crysis Warhead
4. Mirrors Edge
5. Call Of Duty 4
6.COD 5
7.Tom Clancy Rainbow Six: Vegas 2

1. Far Cry 2 Not my cup of rice:rolleyes:

2. Battlefield 2142 I love this game, but when I bought it, it was a little over priced in my opinion, but if they've dropped it to $20's I'd say go for it

3. Crysis Warhead Takes a really strong computer to run, decent game
4. Mirrors Edge

5. Call Of Duty 4 Great game, kinda old now

4. Mirrors Edge, the games isn't worth how much it lasts, the campaign is rather short and won't last you that long

6.COD 5 Decent game (Not as good as CoD4 IMO), I'd suggest waiting till the fall for CoD: Modern Warfare 2

7.Tom Clancy Rainbow Six: Vegas 2 Really the exact same thing as the first one, If you really want to play RB6, I'd suggest waiting for the next one, because Vegas 2 has already been out for awhile now.
 
Call Of Duty 4, great fun and still huge and active multiplayer..last i checked there where 4000 servers O_O story mode is short but fun :P
 
FALLOUT 3

totally awesome, and you would enjoy it judging from the list you have already.
 
Fallout 3 or COD4.

COD4 has an awesome story and the multiplayer is fun for awhile. Personally I got bored with it but obviously some people still love it.
 
Far Cry 2 is fun and theres alot to do in it

but fallout 3 is so much fun you could put 70+ hours into it and still enjoy the hell out of it
 
If you've played any of Bethseda's older games and didn't like them, Fallout 3 is not for you.
Eye candy and tons of stuff to do, but I find the whole thing too complicated, thus boring.

I would go with CoD4 or WaW (CoD 5). Not only is it an eGO supported game, they both have outstanding single player campaigns (WaW was a little more boring, but still pretty good).
Also... I have a copy of CoD4 I'd be willing to sell...
 
Fallout 3 is the bomb.Ive been playing it and have found alot of locations and there is much detail in the graphics and this is 1 of these games that lets u explore alot of cool,detailed,adventurous locations.I myself love this game and I even have the game guide and i still cant find half the things in it because there all hidden away.I would go for F3.

Fallout 3, in my opinion, is a fantastic game. I only wish that there were more quests to do, like in Morrowind. While there are a few problems with the game itself, it's nothing that a few mods can't fix :D
 
Get crysis me you and some others could play that one together.... And whoever said you need a god computer to run it was wrong.... The first one needed that but this one is way better in the running department.
 
Of the games you listed, COD4, Far Cry 2, CODWAW, are the best. I ordered them by best game. Fallout 3 is good, but it isn't really your standard FPS. The combat in F3 is REALLY stiff and boring (without VATS). And if you are a fan of good stories, F3 will disappoint you in almost every way possible.

Though it's hard to believe anyone hasn't got COD4 yet, if you can only get one, that would be it.
