Anzio?

Before the houses where shut down there was talk about anzio as =FL='s home map. Is there still any hope for this now? Jw, not whining or anything just curious.

I don't recall an Anzio server being attempted, but a Palermo server was. The Palermo server was ultimately unsuccessful as people were unwilling to commit to populating it (who knows why).

there were plenty of people who loved going on palermo...it needed more time though you know...it isnt a mainstream map though....something like a jagd or colmar....being bomb maps....might do well as eGO servers seeing as we dont have any

I love how you can class Palermo as not 'mainstream' XD, shows you how narrow minded most DODsourcers are when it comes to maps that aren't Donner, Ava, Anzio or Kalt.


eGO did have a rotation server a loooong time ago that played Kalt, Anzio and possibly flash? I can't remember but they ended up sticking with Kalt. Anzio is a good map though, one of the better stock maps.

You guys are misunderstanding. Im not asking what map youd like to see, im asking to see if theres still a possibility of getting anzio. Yes we did have anzio server, yes we did have palermo server, both failed because they couldnt stay full. So can anyone leadership person answer my question?

Well you'd have to ask JohnT or one of the higher eGOs, asking in general discussion is obviously going to get some odd answers as we have no idea.

idk but which map is it where the germans have to plant the bombs a la strand, the one with the halftrack and the one in the snow? I like those and I would definitely play but again enlighten me if this has already been covered, thanks.

5 servers is the sweet spot for eGO DoD. At some point we may add a 6th server but for now i am intersted in getting the five we have higher up in rank before i even consider it.

I enjoy the other maps but I have to admit that even my favorite map is no fun with less than 20-25 players. 32 is perfect mayhem for me on our maps. I really have to agree....give us a short line of people waiting to play all of our servers first, then we can expand.
