I was thinking of making a script that automatically, when launched, will add certain groups of Edgegamers members to your friends list. What do you guys think about it?

Categories of Friends:
Full Admin (JohnT, Dominion, etc.) **Needs to be approved first**
Division Leaders
Advisors
All =(eGO)=? Status Members
All =(eG)=? Status Members
All =(e)=? Status Members

This will take an enormus amount of time. Adding each Steam Community ID manually. :( Better get started.

Awesome idea!
Question: would you be able to make it so it wouldn't be messed up by already having some members in your friends?
Anyway, sounds great. Can't wait to see how it turns out. :)

Won't work, eGO has to many members, it'd be to big for your friend list...

Thats an awesome idea, but there are way too many members to compile them one by one. You need to make a script that will automatically sort out the names from the =(eGO)=™ steam group(s), along with the steam_ids, and then have some sort of while loop that sends a friend request to that steam_id from your id.

not to mention we might get our accounts shutdown for adding/changing our friends list so much o.o ( friend had that happen when he added like 150 people in one day )

I wish it would have worked. It was a Great Idea! Give that man some Casino Cash for looking out for his teammates.

why not just join steam community for ego, also ur friends list can only hold 200 people i think

You guys know we have a main steam group that we ask everyone to join and then each division has a steam group. That may be easier to join then create a script.

Sweet. Only thing is, there are many new members coming in and sometimes they stop playing after a while. So you should only add =(eG)=? Status Members and above. Great idea though

wouldnt be effective at all, too many members and too many inactive members. its a cool idea but pretty useless. basically if you need to view someone's profile or send them a PM searching the members list works great from there you can get steam id's and them find them on hlstatsx, etc. I feel time and effort would be better spent on other things such as speeding up servers or sponsors.
