flash server

i was on the server last night and i heard many complaints of "spikes/lag"..i was experiencing some symptoms also, tried fixing my config and settings but nothing helped. anyone else see this?

yeah a lot of people did. im sure it will go away.

If this happens and everyone is complaining about lag spikes try and get a hold of a council member (Slayr or Kamikaze Tommy) and they can restart the server. We had to do it with Kalt to yesterday evening, its something we dont like to do especially if its a full server, but if its affecting game play it needs to be done. Just be sure to stick around and help fill the server back up.

I am sure the lag will be fixed.

But while that is happening we do not need everyone spamming LAG!!!!!!!! or talking about how the lag is affecting their game that gets annoying.

Its a little laggy today as well.

We me and some other admins thought a guy might have been hacking, since 97% of his kills where head shots and his movement was jerky, but we didn't have any "proof". After he left the server wasn't quite as laggy, but it was still bad...

The interesting thing is that it wasn't bad before he came.

how do you get a hold of council members?

Vent is the best, try and get a hold of an advisor, they usually know how to get ahold of council members even if they are not in vent.

IRC is good to get an advisor... but i would say the easiest way to get anyone is steam
