anyone who loves the nba believe the lakers have a chance this year? i personally think kobe should be mvp again (very close with lebron), and they will win when bynum comes back.

the lakers always have a chance ... they're a good team and all, but i'd love to see them go head to head with boston again (big celtics fan here, have been so for the past few years, so no bandwagoning here). however, should boston not lead the eastern division, i'm all for cleveland to go to the finals. i like lebron over kobe - both are great players, but kobe is soooooooo over-rated, and a totally freakin' deutchbag to boot, so i'd love to see his smug little face smeared across across the court, haha ... but yeah, i vote for another lakers vs boston bout. or a lakers vs. cleveland. just my .2 cents.

I'm in full on March Madness Zone right now so the NBA is definitely on the back burner for me. The upcoming NCAA tournie has potential to be one of the best in a long time. So many teams that can actually take it and when you factor in the possible 1 seeds that have already lost in their conference tournies UNC is looking really strong when my bracket gets made up.

As far as Kobe and the Lakers, I don't like the guy. He shoots too much, he's a ball hog, and bottom line, he can't win without Shaq or some other outstanding big man to clean up his mess. Unfortunately, unless the Celtics can go healthy all the way through the playoffs they might not be able to make it to the finals. I absolutely love LeBron and he is so much more clutch than Kobe plus he just makes those around him better. If the Cavs had a better front office, James would already have a ring. You can't count out the Spurs. They've been there, it's a team full of vets that know how to rock playoff ball, and they're still tough. They aren't worried about seeding, just get into the post season healthy and take down whoever they get.

I agree with plork, March Madness is ON! the pros dont even really turn it on or get interesting for me until the playoffs start

I preffer to play basketball over watching the NBA.
Haven't been following this season at all D:
