People said it was racist because it had lot of black AFRICAN AMERICAN zombies that you kill. What they fail to remember... is that it DOES take place in AFRICA.... I mean come on... how many White, Chinese, Japanese, Mexican, etc people do you see in Africa?! I don't think its racist...

I'm going to have to go with unsure for right now - I've heard both sides of the arguement, though.
 
umm...i think we live in an era that is just too politically correct that u have to watch everthing u say and or do, dont say god in school, give trophies out to everyone in sports so we dont hurt any feelings.....but we digress this discussion opens up a whole different can of worms so i will leave it at that.
 
to be honest, i think its stupid, how is it anymore racist to kill black zombies in Africa than it is to kill white zombies in USA

EXACTALLY! I wonder what people would say if I thought a game was racist because they were killing white people.
 
I saw an interview with one of the creators. In a loose translation he pointed out it is not racist, you get to kill giraffes and other animals too.
 
Differentiating shooting black zombies from white zombies is fundamentally racist in the first place. They are all zombies, and the zombies need to be shot. People need to stop over analyzing and just have fun.

I killed hundred of Spaniards in RE4. If it wasn't racist then, I don't see why its suddenly racist to have your enemies be black if the game is based in Africa.

Yeah, I know southern, northern, and north eastern parts of Africa have areas that are populated by primarily whites and arabs, but for the most part Africa is populated by black people.

RE5 being racist is a stupid argument that lacks any sound base.

Also, Capcom should drop the pretension of RE being a survival horror series any more. That died out with Outbreak and RE4.

So the only good zombie is a dead zombie? What's next? Zombies lack the mental capacities of the living? Zombies are genetically predisposed to eat brains? Zombies make lousy parents? Zombies can't hold jobs? :mad:

anyways, this arguement is a silly arguement, and as I have noticed no one seems to post that it is racisit, so I dub this poll finished!

Zombies are Zombies, a game is a game. If the main character was yelling racial slurs while killing them, then yes that would be racisit. People who react this way are just silly, and I look forward to a time when america, as well as the rest of the world. Can stop worrying about upsetting another race and live their lives without being uptight wads.

why do zombies talk now? i played the demo and they were yelling and exectuted this guy.. i then turned it off
 
they already banned it from a couple of countries....i say no, to hell with it, its a game about zombies, whats the worse (2 days later, every1 is a zombie) WHAT HAVE I DONE!!!!
