I really dont see this as a racist game.

1. Based in Africa...and as pointed above, cant really put to many other ethnicities into a
country majoring in Afircan citizens

2. Then every shooter game would be racist in one way or another (i.e. killing only whites, or
asians in other games)...for example: Metal Gear Solid

3. People need to find racist problems in every game that comes out :/
 
technically, there are no zombies in RE5, all the enemies are infected by some parasite

btw, RE5 is freakin bada** :D
 
Well here are a few simple facts:

1. It's Resident Evil. I haven't played RE5 yet, but speaking from experience...The "real" bad guys are going to be a bunch of white corporate types.

Can you spot the bad guy? (Hint it's the guy on the left)

2. This game was made in Japan, not America. Japan is made up primarily of people with Asian decent. Discrimination in Japan is primarily on a cultural level and not racial. Basically unless they are in the PR department...racial insensitivity isn't a issue they might pick up on.

3. It's freakin Resident Evil. This isn't top shelf story telling...don't take it seriously.

You can tell even with the decaying flesh and the inevitablly dim lighting found it zombie games? My focus is not on the pigment found in said flesh, but rather if zombie with said flesh is:
1. Bloodthirsty
2. Mobile
3. Close
4. Large
5. Dangerous

No, it is not a racist game. And what about 50 Cent Blood on the sand? 50 Cent killing arabic soldiers is not racist. And anyway, in Resident Evil 5, some zombies aren't black.

RE4 placed in spain and spaniards were ok to kill

RE5 placed in Africa and its a "no-ok" for killing african americans

I dont think this game is racist, cuz there are other kinds of people in this game

I think thats a poor way of putting it.. I think that since this game is placed in africa doesn't relfect racism, I think honestly, they had no intention in anyway making this racist. there is an extremely large part of africa in conflict. pretty much all the time. it was probably just one of the few places they could get away with putting a shooter like this. plus the whole, middle east video game thing does get repetitive.
 
I would say not, but like everyone else I don't wanna get caught into an argument over this. However, I don't recall FarCry 2 getting any complaints, and they didn't even have zombies, just militants.

i mean if it was in china, were u hoping it was all chinese people would that be racist? i mean the ghost games made in japan have usually japanese dead in it, so is that racist? i mean who cares its a game, if you dont like it just dont play it i mean wow. people are just so pathetic these days :(
