Change Strand to Colmar?

Actually the reason i brought this topic up is not to bash strand thus that is why i picked colmar, SIMILAR OBJECTIVES of PLANT and DEFUSE. get it?

So mayb jst maybe dod_strand should be changed to dod_colmar

Strand server will not be changed to a rotation server or Colmer... Rotation servers always fail also Colmer is not worth loosing the pubs that play Strand.

Also Strand Server is in 3rd spot right now after Donner and Avalanch.

I'm all for it but we should do a test for a while to see if it pans out. I do like it but would like the consensus of the pubbers. If they come, we keep it. 8)

Ok, so I don't want to step on anyone's feet but I think the thread was to discuss who would like it to be added/changed and why. I think that some of the responses here have been kinda rude and not with the spirit of the thread. I did not start this thread but I do like Colmer and again I will stress as an eGO exclusive player that it would be nice to see other maps. Also no offense to you Greenlight but I am sure there are probably just as many people that like Colmer as do Strand. It makes me happy when I see all of the admins that respond to the posts but sometimes and I am not saying in this particular case... but some times the admins can be a little over critical or come off sounding inconsiderate of us lower level members posts and ideas.

Strand is better, but IF they did change Strand to a different map, they should change it to Anzio imo

wooh avalanche top 3 hehe ... sorry but i say colmar cause 1 of the acheivements can get achieved

also 1 sided bomb map like strand also gets boring after losing and getting killed 100 times in a row. know what i mean. thats 1 reason y i never play that map. :chair: but then i could also see the other side where people that love that map would be mad if they changed it, its like saying change AVA or Donner who would do that? so we can have all the polls we want it wont change the advisors mind about the servers so i say just keep them the way they are.

The point simply is, A rotation server for =(eGO)= has never worked.

So it would be a waste, Second the only way the server will be changed or given that chance is if Council approves it, Not thru a thread like this.

Third would be if this was tryed out it would prob be on one of the less popular servers, Like Flash or Kalt.

I just made a point, I didn't mean it in a inconsiderate way, Also I know more about this aspect because the last rotation server =(eGO)= had failed,

I'm not telling you, that you guys are wrong or talking down to you, Just from experiance is what I'm speaking from.

well then it wouldent be a bad idea to submit a request for a TRIAL server with colmar on it.

GREENLIGHT TERROR do you think its worth a try? ( to submit a request to get a trial server with colmar?)

Wel first off guys i can tell you we wont be getting rid of charlie it is a number 17 ranked server in the world. Why on earth would be switch it? If all of our five server get in the top ten(yes it can be done) we may look at adding a 6th server but for eGO DoD 5 servers is the sweet spot.

That being said look in the near future for a DoD event on the funserver we will be trying out some differnt maps.
