Yea..2fort is crazy with snipers...Warpath is too..I play on blackmesa alot..and its not so bad..although not the best for sniping..but the new version has abit more for snipers I think.

Definitely not 2Fort, snipers there are all corner-snipers and not very good even at that.

Come to 2fort sometime then, I'll show you some corner sniping.

Warpath is more corner sniping than 2fort, and you'd be incorrect to disagree. The map consists of tight path ways with corners. There are no wide open locations to snipe from besides the middle cap point. But that point is always in control by one team, so you never get a chance to snipe. Consider the first point, on the right side anyone who uses that location near the health would probably be corner sniping.

I tend to stay away from maps that have tight corners and narrow pathways, because that just invites corner snipers.

Good maps to visit are definitely in the PL rotation server. Cashworks and Badlands come to mind.

As for some sniper tips, the main thing I can suggest is really to always keep moving. Don't stay scoped for long periods of time, and aim at your target's head before scoping. There's lots of advanced techniques you could use such as snap shots and faking, but those really require a demo/video to explain them.

Just some of me sniping up 2fort. If it seems like I stop and just stand still doing nothing, I was probably talking to people on steam friends, people kept bugging me while I was killin' doods.
