Steam giving troubles

Hello guys, im in need of some assistance. recently a friend of mine bough TF2 and gave me a trial pass for 3 days. Well the 3 days are over, but now steam does not want o open any of my other games, DoD:S and L4D.

I checked out the Steam page, but some of the tips that they give there did not worked at all and now I'm gonna miss the DoD:S Admin Abuse because of Steam.

Please if anyone can help me anyway they can, do so ASAP. I will be forever great full and will give you all a virtual cookie.

Have you deleted the clientregistry.blob file? That fixes 90% of my Steam problems.

To delete the file, completely close out Steam. Go to C:/program files/steam and delete the file named clientregistry.blob

Start Steam again, and let it re-update.

my friend has this problem he just closed of steam completely and restarted everything and it worked fine after that

Yes I did downloaded the clientregistry.blob and it did nothing... But anyways, it seems that it was an error from the internal system. I just entered to my games and they worked ok, so I believe it had something to do with the TF2 free trial I had. Anyways it work now and thanks for your quick help in my time of need.
