Cooking a grenade, hazards and benefits!

The one strategy used by the Insurgents when capturing B in Dust2, is to spam nades over the Marine Spawn facing double doors, which is legal and cheap.:(

*plays a sad tune* for King
More cheese with your whiiinnneee sir? :w00t::huh::bored::glare::lol::closedeyes::laugh:

I get about 15 kills if I just camp it out over in B for 5 minutes :w00t:

I recently started playing INS again and I forgot that it isn't like CS where you can hold a grenade for as long as you want, to I left-clicked and held it and as soon as I threw it it exploded in my face, lol. Good times.

Yeah umm it shouldn't have, now if you would have right clicked and held thats when it will start to cook.. so I'm not sure what happened with you:confused1::O:huh::closedeyes::glare::blushing::bored:

Lol yeah it'll do that... first time I tried to cook a nade I held it too long and I threw it and blew up a foot in front of me and killed me... :P

yea i play css and ins a lot each so it is hard to go from css no nade delay and crosshairs to the real game ins with nade delay and no crosshairs. its a fun challenge especially when i kill people in both. which reminds me i still have to figure out how to kill quix and killzone in css i dont think i ever have

I was playing DOD the other day, cooking a grenade is much more dangerous, in terms of yourself. I was abuot to chunk a grenade at a MG position, then ran away, and blew myself up, good thing that FF is Off on the DOD servers.

:mellow::blink::mellow::confused1::sleep::closedeyes::huh::huh::confused1::blink:
umm... so. The nade bounced back at you? You didn't run away fast enough?
YOU WERE PLAYING DoD?! :mad::mellow::glare::glare::closedeyes::glare::huh:

Actually....doing so makes it easire to commit suiside...Like, if you change class, and you don't want anybody to get it,
You prime the nade for the 4-5 secs and.... BOOM! you'll retstart as your choosen class :D

Never got to do it when i was in the army.
They said you would lose a months pay

Or you could just type "kill" in console. "explode" is usually more fun though.

Do you play woodsball at all? :w00t:

I've got a tippman A-5 with a 40mm red/green dot sight, collapsible (m4 style) stock, remote, 4+1 harness, (vertical) 48ci 3000psi (i know it sucks) steel tank, an extreme rage 20/20 mask (with a fan) and a collapsible hopper + elbow.

Waiting to get... My E-trigger and a new barrel, and a side rail so i can see down my sights easier with my mask on. Haven't decided on the barrel yet though. Maybe a new power tube and a vented piston chamber for my cyclone feed.

The only thing preferable to the pistol is the M203. The RPG is too easy and the nades, for me, take too long.

the worst is when you are have that nade in hand, and then your teammate kills you. He gets one tk, a few seconds later, poof, you just tk'ed 5 people. I always scream like a banshee when stuff like that happens.

rolf dont forget that the tk manager will kick you!
