Yeah i think this has alot to do with who you remember seeing as the James bond growing up..
For me... Roger Moore is James bond..
but I like all of them... well except Lazenby.... he doesn't really even come to mind as James Bond to me.

Daniel Craig is a good James Bond though... he's indestructible and sinister. It's a new look at an old character.

I would have to agree, james bond reinvented in much the same way batman begins retold the batman legend, casino royale went back to the beginning and introduced us to the old/new james bond and why/how he wont let himself get too attached to women and all his other quirks.

yes, i personally love daniel craig and the new direction james bond is going. it isn't the old cheesey ridiculous stuff anymore.
in casino royale when the bartender asked if he wanted his drink shaken or stirred, bond said something like, frankly i don't give a damn. i LOOVED it

im shocked and appalled that PB has that many votes....hes made the worst bond films in history!

Totally disagree. And I am a hardcore Bond fan. Pierce Brosnan and Sean Connery are the best bonds. Goldeneye is my favourite Bond film.

Pierce Brosnan, he made a great bond. Also because i grew up watching him :D. But i dont like this new guy and these new bonds. Quantom of Soltice was the worst movie i ever saw in my life. The story was horrible, he was chasing a conman.... Also it was pretty much just a series of random action, granted they where good action scence. But random and out of place. There was no Q, no new gadgets, and really only one cool car. Raged enough, but i like Pierce.

Pierce.

Daniel Craig is one sexy piece of man meat (come on, we can have man-crushes without being gay, right?), but he's not what would imagine when I think of Bond.

~Gooda~

i still like the direction bond is taking, a more serious and modern feel. no more of the extremely corny lines, villains, gadgets etc. thats all fine and dandy if thats how you like your bond, but to me invisible cars and computer animated wind surfing tsunami waves are a BIG hint at the worst movies ever to be had

Most people forget to be a true bond one thing is required: copious amounts of matted dark chest hair. Thats why Connery and Brosnan are winning. :P
