Denouncing common Jail Myths

the shift walk thing is where the myth 3 comes into play

So who comes up with the rules? Do they just fall out of the sky like the bible? Or is there a general concensus between admins for it. Or is it a democracy in which everyone votes for it, or whats the deal with it. Im curious because I dont think they are bad but I am just more interested in the bureaucratic process.

ryu... they cells opening and closing is in the original rules. It states that the cells can only be closed if the Warden states a time in which the T's have to be out of their cells/they will be closing. They must specify a time.

So if they do not specify a time, close the cells, and kill me for being inside my cell, is that valid?

The council and division leaders and advisors come up with rules. Then they share them with the admins who their duty is to employ them ,and try to have bunches of funs playing the games we love :D.

I agree with some of the posts.

Here is something that frustrates me when I am T:

I get baited, then I stab a CT, and he shoots me dead. If I remember correctly, I can stab and even KILL that CT without punishment, but that never seems to happen. It always seems that CTs think they can automatically kill a T who stabs a CT.

Another thing that frustrates me is the lack of warns by the CT team. If I have a gun and it is on my back or in my holster, my understanding is that I MUST be warned to drop the gun UNLESS I shoot at a CT (in which case, I'm open game). But most of the time, CTs just shoot if they see you have a gun.

I've recently stopped playing as much Jail just because of those two things.

Perhaps a clarification of exactly what "baiting" is and the acceptable responses to baiting is in order as well as a clarification of exactly when a T can be shot if they have a gun.

The whole baiting thing is tricky business, because its almost impossible for all the CT's to know that the CT was baiting.

As for guns. I think the rule is if you don't have in your hands, you're supposed to be warned, but if its in your hands you can be killed. However, if you just pick up a gun accidentally then you have to be warned. You can even switch to your knife if you're not warned. But, you'll be shot if you show intent to use it.

Here's another one I'd like answered:

On Devs, if all the Ts are ordered to finish the maze, and the winner T quickly runs to the kill button and presses it, killing every other T just to get LR, is that allowed?

I think its automatic, once the T gets out of the maze it kills everyone on the opposite maze. But then again I have never been first place hahaha.
