WOW cd's free?

Is there anyway i can get to play wow wihtout having to buy the games? im willing to pay monthly, but can i borrow from a friend or somthing their cd's? how does that work?

Nope, does'nt work that way, unless he did'nt register the cd keys in which case it would be your and he would'nt be able to use it. However you might be able to use his CD's and just use your Cd keys if you have them, then should be no problem.

Allthough it would cost just about as much as buying the game in a box..

Might as well grab your own copy.

Would be easier to just go buy em from the store, or online and just get the key, then to go through all that trouble.

Yeah you can download the installer online and then install it for free, but in order to make an account you have to buy a key which you can do online for $20 i beleive. then you gotta pay for the expansions if you want them... but for some reason the WoW sites been down for me for a while.

The trial only has so much then you "HAVE" to buy the DVD/CD retail copy of wow, trust me I've been through that.

You can buy the CD for like $10 and when you buy it you get a free month so i dont see the biggu :/

if i were you id just buy the battlechest that comes with the burning crusade. It would be a better deal for you as a new wow player.

Yeah if your going start playing buy the battlechest is the best deal. But be warned, WOW will try and take your soul....and life.

It's not. It's against Blizzard's TOS.

And people mod everything on those servers, so even the weaker weapons(like a Copper Dagger) could one hit a level 80.

ya you can download the games (all of them) from private servers...i dunno if those will specifically work with the original but they probably will, you just need to change the IP addy as far as i know.
and some of those privates are kool...tho not long ago blizzard took a lot of time and effort to close down 90% of them. then the next day just as many were reopened.

torrent and then just go on private servers free free free! also private servers work perfect its like a server for any other game WoW just happens to also host there own to make more money. Anyway try them out they are great plus some are modded for easier leveling

Classic WoW was actually free keyed so you can use a friends Key for 1-60 they implemented it i think around the second big patch
