Mouse recommendations?

Ok, my mouse is getting tired (the left click is held on with tape. yeah.) and i need a new one. Any suggestions? What's good out there now?

**Keep in mind i don't need a mouse with 20 buttons to pwn faces.

I love my Razer Lachesis, it runs about 60-65, but if you don't want to spend that much then I'd recommend a Logitech G5, its around 30-35 & although it is a little large compared to other mice, its a solid choice & will last forever.

Yeah, I have a G5, solid, comfortable and practical. Although the DPI has started randomly flicking to the lowest setting during INS matches, which doesn't help much. Seems to only happen during Dust2. Weird.

Even though I've only owned the G7, buy the G5 like others recommend. Best bang for the buck, and only one extra button (three, counting the on-the-fly DPI buttons).

That used to happen to me too. I had that stupid Logitech driver thing installed. If you installed it, get rid of it.

On topic, the G5 is a pretty good mouse. It's been dependable so far, except for the 1 lemon when I first bought it. Sometimes is still screws up, but I can fix it by unplugging and plugging back in.

If you're strapped for cash you can pick up an optical mouse for next to nothing.

I recommend a G5 as well. I haven't had any issues with the DPI setting, but that may just be my luck.

I love my G5 the 800,1200,2000 DPI buttons are usful for when you are sniping, rifling it up and shooting some faces with a MG, but i usually keep mine on 2000DPI in-game and 1200 out of game, just me though

I haven't had any experience with the G5, so I can't comment...

I will say, I really enjoy my Razer Diamondback. Small, light, high DPI, sensitive buttons... a good solid first real gaming mouse (there are higher end ones with more DPI, but I had to get used to the standard mouse first, then start ramping up the DPI to max).

The 1 and only MX518. Got it over 2 years ago, the thing is rock solid. This would be my recommendation if you wanted something simple, reliable, and still a "gaming" mouse.

I use and love the G5 as well, lol. 35 dollars though? My wife got if for my birthday and she paid 60 something for it. I looked around and I couldn't find one cheaper. Where have you seen it for 30-35?

get the G5 set it up with 800 dpi and set the in game sensativity to 4.0 no weights in what a lot of pros use.

G5 you spend 30-35 $ and you got a very great mouse. you play faster when you got the G5 i've had a another mouse and i buy my G5 and i playing like a master

Me if you have a 100$ in your hands, I would buy the Microsoft wireless 8000, it's a really good mouse ( That's what i'm using) got 2 buttons on the side that you can program with plenty of cool function's like magnifier, gaming configurations, instant viewer(a bit like hourglass on vista). Well actually you can program all the button's on the mouse, but it's really great, it got a really good grip, and it can last up to 1.5 week with one single charge if I'm not mistaking, but seriously it's really great.
