I love The Simpsons, but i think that even though the episodes are still good, its been on for to long. Futurama on the other hand is hillarious, and each episode is better then the previous one...So ill have to say I go with Futurama

Futurama. It always has some good stuff in it, Simpsons used to have good stuff in it sometimes. Nowadays there's nothin' funny about them. In my, MY opinion.

Futurama is better. It's a lot fresher than The Simpsons, and there is a lot more that can be done for original episodes. Simpsons is great too but, Futurama is much better. I can't believe they canceled it after 4 seasons while the Simpsons is 18 (I think), it's starting to draaaaaaag on. I would easily sacrifice The Simpsons for more Futurama.

Futurama = Simpsons IMHO........... everything > family guy. i dont get it i've watched it a bunch of times and the most it ever brings out of me is a smile once in a while. its just not funny ot me

Its not about which show is "fresher" or which show "used to be good" its about the entirety of the show and its series, there IS a reason futurama was canceled and why the simpsons is a cultural icon.

I like the simpsons up to the episode where homer works for mr scorpio...than it goes downhill and futurama takes over as #1.

As much as I enjoyed Futurama, I am glad that it did eventually get cancelled. Now, before you hate me for saying it, look at it this way. How many bad episodes did you watch? None? Maybe one or two? Regardless, it's hardly any if none at all. Overall, it ended as a very enjoyable and amazing show. Now look at the Simpsons in comparison, it started out awesome, and stayed that way for a few years. As time went on it went down hill. Now look at it, it's not funny, it's embarrassing how bad it is now, and I can honestly say that it has brought my overall opinion about the show down.

Sure, Futurama was shorter, but this allowed it to thrive and go out with a bang. The Simpsons on the other hand is like a dying race horse dragging it's hind legs behind it. Sure it may have been able to amaze and awe us back in the day, but now we just feel bad for it.

Southpark is by far the best inteligent comedy but family guy does have its moments due to its, well some say cheap, improvisation format of randomness.

But between futurama and simpsons its got to be futurama for me, simpsons has a few gold moments but the majority of the episodes, INCLUDING the old series are prety dull mediocore jokes. Futurama is more intense, alot more jokes compact and also funnier jokes per episode. I appriciate the length of the simpsons reign but i think that its never produced even one truely gold series, its stength lies in the sheer number of episodes which are averagely humourus ratehr than rofl laugh out loud funny like futurama.

HUH?!?! How is South Park an intellignet comedy?? It is some of the most lowbrow humor I have ever heard! If you want intelligent comedy watch Monty Python or any non-American comedy for that matter. America is not about highbrow intelligent comedy. It's about lowbrow, dirty, vulgar bathroom humor! If you actually do find an intelligent comic or comedy to come out of America I would be more than happy to be proven wrong. But Southpark is nowhere near intelligent humor.

It's funny you mention america and monty python. I'm infact from england and so yes i have heard of monty python and also john cleese and I've seen all the films and im a massive fan. But if you think southpark is vulgar potty humor i assume you've never watched more than 1 epidosde? try watching an episode like super fun tyme, its genius. The potty humor in south park is usually used in a very clever way to have a go at someone or to shock people, its not meant to be the main comedy.

Infact i watch loads of non americain humor, peep show, the office(english version), the two ronnies, extras, live at the appollo (british stand-up comedy), and also americain comdey like scrubs which can be genius at times.
