well i got a new mouse today and i was wondering...
how do you guys deal with 2000 dpi?!?! my mouse can go from 600 to 800 to 1200 to 1600 to 2000 to 2500 dpi. I am happy with 1600 dpi but that is even fast but 2000 is just crazy!
how do you guys deal with that much dpi?

I customized the settings on my G7, so I've never used 2000, it's a bit ridiculous. My max is set at 1700, and I rarely use that, only for flying in BF2 and sniping on TF2.

But you learn to deal with it after a while, and learn when to use which setting. Really, it depends on the person's personal preferences.

LOL my Razr Lachesis goes to 4000dpi!!!! I use 2000 and it feels great, but 4000 is overkill on a whole new level.

holy my bejesus god..... 4000dpi!?!?! thats is crazyness that is just overkill on so many levels your mouse would fly to the other side of the screen in a twitch

DPI and sensitivity/speed are NOT the same thing. Mouse sensitivity and/or acceleration determines how fast your cursor moves, or how jumpy it is, ect. DPI is dots per inch, meaning the more dots per inch, the more precise your mouse can be. You can have 4000 DPI and have your mouse cursor move whatever speed you want, just turn the sensitivity down.

as crazy as it sounds, the 4000 dpi setting on the Lachesis is useful. I use it in bf2 when flying jets/helos, it works quite well in place of a flight stick

i only use 600-1800 dpi for sniping, while everyone else i love the crazy fastness. eventually you get use to it lol. i enjoy high dpi i barely move my mouse and it doesnt hurt my hand like it use to.(after long gaming)
