AM3 CPU Cooler

Xigmatek Dark Knight-S1283V for $40: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835233029

Tuniq Tower 120 for $50: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835154001

Noctua NH-U12P for $70: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835608002

CoolerMaster V8 for $70: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835103055

The T.R.U.E 120 is a deactivated item at NewEgg...so you'll have to shop around, but the Xigmatek and Noctua come close to it in terms of cooling, and they're a bit cheaper too.

When looking for a CPU HSF, stick to reputable brands. Arctic Cooling, Xigmatek, Tuniq, Noctua, CM, or Thermalright. Between those 6 different companies, there's a guaranteed chance you'll find the right CPU cooler. But stick to those 6 only.

AM2, AM2+ and AM3 all have the same mounting brackets. So even if it doesn't explicitly state in the specifications 'AM3 compatible', either of the above 5 will still fit and cool the Phenom II's without any problems. Google for reviews.

The V10 is a BEAST. But the cooler matters in relation to your case. First Case info then cooler

i have heard good things about the Tuniq Tower. just throwing that out there

I've been very happy with the performance from my Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro (the LGA 775 version of the Arctic Cooling Freezer 64 Pro). And it's even the cheapest ;)
