HOW can I get better @ CS:S?

aim high too - just get in the habit of having your crosshairs always at LEAST chest height. in order to get used to it you can put your crosshairs slightly higher than head height...exaggerate it. i notice when im not doing well i usually pull my crosshairs down and go for body shots...but when i take wind of it and raise em up theres a lot more headshots

Once again, thanks for the tips everyone. They were much appreciated and I'm using all the tips you've suggested!

Definitely basic training. I need to give Oldie a shout and see if i can get better at a few things :)

I'm not sure if it's been mentioned in this thread (I glanced, but didn't read all the posts... TL:DR and all that jazz), but the FAMAS is a solid rifle for people to cut their teeth on for CS. While lacking in the brute force of the AK, or the scope of the AUG, the FAMAS' 3-round burst mode is a FANTASTIC way to practice burst fire and learning how your shot group will behave down range towards your target.

I practice every other night with that rifle, just to keep my skills in order. :)

All else fails, buy the M-249 Heavy Bolter and just pepper the area with 5.5mm hot lead. ;)

jus hide until not a lot of them are left then by then some of them wont have full health and then go and try to kill them all. it doesnt always work but its the only reason my kdr is over .500

haha!!
that does work sometimes...but you don't want to be like blouses. i say its best to stick with your team and if they're rushing, rush with em but in the middle of the group. that way most likely they won't shoot at you, and you can shoot back and maybe steal some kills haha

wat.

LAWL ANGELPIT, YOU ARE AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!

and famas is a godly weapon. 3 burst will put anyone down, one to take the helmet, two to hit the head, and if hes still alive, the third will penetrate that thing and hit the target behind, awesome XD

and cousin can do magic with that thing.

I been getting pretty decent scores. Whenever I finish (after about 30 minutes or so) 95% of the time I have a 1.0 KDR. 75% of the time, I have above a 1.05. So I'm not doing half bad.
